We often misunderstand God’s heart toward us because we filter His love through our shame. When we mess up, feel distant, or fall short, we assume He has stepped away—but He hasn’t. Shame convinces us to withdraw, hide, and disconnect, while God continues to extend grace and invitation.

The truth is this: God is not responding to your worst moment with rejection. He is responding with presence. The separation you feel is not distance from Him—it’s distance created by shame.
