Mark Twain once said, “A man cannot be comfortable without his own approval.”

Yet many people spend their lives trying to earn approval from others instead of learning to stand confidently in who they are.

This often leads to emotional exhaustion, people-pleasing, over-explaining, and shrinking your truth just to be accepted.

But here’s the deeper truth: you were never meant to live for the approval of others.

Jeremiah 1:5 reminds us that before we were formed, we were already known—seen, called, and purposed by God.

You may not always be understood or approved by people… but you are still part of God’s family.

God is your Father. Jesus is your Savior and Lord. And the Holy Spirit is your comforter.

The more we depend on people’s approval, the more drained, anxious, and dissatisfied we become.

True peace comes when you stop auditioning for acceptance and start living from identity.
