“The Lord Is My Rock: Finding Safety in God
Psalm 18:2 reminds us that when life feels unstable, God is the one place that never moves. David calls God his rock, fortress, and deliverer—a picture of safety, strength, and protection. A rock doesn’t shift when storms come, and neither does God.
When people fail us, when relationships hurt us, or when life feels overwhelming, God becomes the place we run to for refuge. He is not just watching from a distance—He is actively protecting, strengthening, and rescuing those who trust Him.
The question is: Where do you run when life gets hard?
Psalm 18:2 invites us to stop leaning on unstable things and start standing on the solid rock of God’s presence.
Scripture:
“The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust.” — Psalm 18:2
