God Never Sleeps: Finding Rest in His Constant Protection (Psalm 121)

In Psalm 121 we are reminded of a powerful truth:

“He who watches over you will not slumber… indeed, He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.”

There are nights when your mind won’t turn off.

Moments when you’re worrying about your children… your marriage… your finances… your future.

But God never blinks.

He never clocks out.

He never gets distracted.

While you are resting, He is working.

While you are uncertain, He is unwavering.

While you are sleeping, He is guarding.

Psalm 121 tells us that our help comes from the Lord — the Maker of heaven and earth. The same God who set the stars in place is watching over your life with intentional care.

You do not have to carry what God has already promised to cover.

Today, breathe deeper.

Release the anxiety.

Let your nervous system settle.

Because the One who protects you… never sleeps.
