Not All “Love” Is Love: Stop Confusing Toxic Abuse with God’s Design for You

Today I want to lovingly remind you of something powerful.

In First Corinthians (chatgpt://generic-entity?number=0) 13, love is described as patient, kind, not self-seeking, not easily angered, keeping no record of wrongs. Love protects. Love trusts. Love hopes. Love perseveres.

That is God’s definition of love.

Toxic abuse is not patient.

It is not kind.

It does not protect you.

It does not honor you.

And sweet sister, God does not ask you to stay in something that is destroying your mind, body, and spirit and call it “love.”

God’s love never humiliates you.

God’s love never manipulates you.

God’s love never uses fear to control you.

Do not confuse suffering abuse with being “a good Christian woman.”

Endurance is biblical. Abuse is not.
