Prophecies About Jesus’ Crucifixion Fulfilled: Every Wound Had a Purpose

A thousand years before Jesus went to the cross, God had already written every detail into scripture. The crown of thorns. The pierced hands. The pierced side. None of it was random. None of it was meaningless.

Every wound Jesus carried was part of a love story written for us.

He wore the crown of thorns so we could be free from the curse. He allowed His hands and feet to be pierced so our sins could be paid in full. He allowed His side to be pierced so grace, mercy, and forgiveness could flow to us.

Jesus did not just die for sin. He died for your shame, your regret, your brokenness, your pain, and every moment you ever believed you were too far gone.

The cross was not an accident. It was a rescue plan.

Isaiah 53:5 says, “But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed.”
